Through this important partnership with the Poor People\u2019s Campaign, the Episcopal Church fully embodies the gospel of the Jesus Movement. In this time of Church renewal, <a href=\"https:\/\/calledtotransformation.org\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Called to Transformation<\/a>\u2019s asset-based approach places the impetus for change and growth within the community itself, rather than solely with church leadership. Inspired by Matthew 25:35-40, each gathering focused on one of these six themes: prisons and criminal justice, water access, food justice, health and healthcare, immigration, and housing. View the gatherings in the video player below!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Justice Resources<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.episcopalchurch.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2020\/11\/protesting_faithfully_-_handbook.pdf\">Protesting Faithfully. The Episcopal Street-Action Handbook:<\/a>&nbsp;Grounded in Episcopal social ethics, this handbook is a resource for religious or spiritual leaders who will be involved in protests or are interested in providing spiritual care in the context of nonviolent direct action.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mentalhealthfirstaid.org\/latest-impacts\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Mental Health First Aid:<\/a>&nbsp;<\/strong>This resource provides guidance on addressing mental health crises without police presence, and how to notice signs of depression within your community or family.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/ripmedicaldebt.org\/campaign\/a-nation-that-cares\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">RIP Medical Debt:<\/a>&nbsp;<\/strong>Churches can partner with this organization that pays off medical debt or can contact hospital directly and offering to pay for unpaid\/past due bills.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.communityjusticeexchange.org\/en\/nbfn-directory\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">National Bail Fund Network:<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;A network of funds that work to end pre-trail detention by posting bail to allow people to defend themselves from a position of freedom.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.episcopalchurch.org\/ogr\/eppn-criminal-justice-series-school-to-prison-pipeline\/\">School-to-Prison Pipeline:<\/a><\/strong>&nbsp;The Episcopal Church Public Policy Network\u2019s series on Criminal Justice includes this comprehensive resource on how young people enter the criminal justice system, including through the school-to-prison
